  • Description

Meet a new breed of spotting scope: Celestron's Hummingbird Micro. Less than 9" long and weighing just 20.8 oz, this mini scope offers all the same advanced features you'd find in a full-size spotter. Whether you're a birder traveling the world adding to your life list, a hunter headed into rugged terrain, or a casual backyard wildlife observer, the Celestron Hummingbird is an excellent choice thanks to its unique features.

    ED glass for superior views

Most mini spotting scopes are built with portability and value in mind. While the Celestron Hummingbird certainly delivers both, it adds a new level of optical performance not normally seen in the mini category. Inside, you'll find ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses for breathtaking resolution, brightness, and color fidelity. Due to the ED glass, you won't see the color fringing associated with most mini spotting scopes in high contrast situations. All of Hummingbird's air-to-glass surfaces feature fully multi-coated optics for increased light transmission through through the entire optical path.

    Ideal for travel

With the Hummingbird, even if you have to leave your larger spotting scope at home due to size and weight constraints, you won't sacrifice quality views. Its lightweight, portable design makes Hummingbird the perfect scope to take along in carry-on luggage, a shoulder bag, or even a cargo pocket.

When used at its lowest magnification levels, the Hummingbird can mimic the function of a monocular in the field. It fits perfectly in your hand and is easy to point at subjects. For longer observing sessions, or when you need higher magnification, Hummingbird quickly attaches to any standard tripod, monopod, or window mount.

During transport or out in the field, Hummingbird can withstand the elements for worry-free use. The scope is 100% waterproof and nitrogen purged, plus it's covered with a durable rubber armor to guard against minor bumps.

The Celestron Hummingbird includes lens caps, a carrying strap, and a soft carrying case.
