  • Description

Whether you’re watching birds, wildlife, or the night sky, Celestron’s LandScout porro prism binoculars provide a secure grip that you can hold steady while glassing. LandScout’s unique ergonomic form feels comfortable in your hands or the hands of a younger observer. The Celestron LandScout binocular is an excellent choice for your first high quality optic that the entire family can enjoy.

Don’t miss a detail in dim conditions

Get close to distant objects with LandScout 12x50's powerful magnification. Most binocular users can manage to hold 12x binoculars steady without a tripod. Meanwhile, large 50mm objective lenses let in lots of light, so you can enjoy your LandScouts during the dim twilight hours or even for astronomy.

The porro optical design provides the same bright views at a lower price than a comparable roof prism binocular, while BaK-4 coatings on the prisms allow for maximum light transmission. Finally, all air-to-glass surfaces are fully multi-coated to further enhance image quality and resolution.

    A comfortable view

An aluminum housing keeps LandScout’s weight to a minimum. Even though this is a larger binocular, you can take it just about anywhere. An ergonomic rubber covered exterior provides secure handheld viewing, but you can also extend your observing session by mounting LandScout on a tripod using the built-in 1/4-20” threads and an optional adapter.

In addition to its ergonomic exterior, LandScout’s optics make it extremely comfortable to use in the field. Simply twist the eyecups up into multiple stops to find most comfortable viewing position, with or without eyeglasses.

Scout out new terrain—not the weather forecast

Pack your Celestron LandScout binoculars on just about any outdoor excursion with confidence—they’re waterproof, sealed, and purged with dry nitrogen gas. That means you won’t have to worry about fog or fungus building up inside the lenses, no matter how humid it gets outside.

To further protect your optics, LandScout comes with objective lens caps, a rainguard, and a soft carrying case with belt loop. Each LandScout also includes a neck strap and lens cloth.
