  • Description

Meade, one of the world's top telescope brands, brings its expertise in optics from the observatory to the outdoors with the rugged Wilderness spotting scope. All air-to-glass surfaces on this spotting scope are fully multi-coated with Meade's signature anti-reflective coatings for maximum transmission. Plus, Meade has used high quality BaK-4 prisms for improved contrast and resolution. The result is bright, sharp views of birds, wildlife, and landscapes.
In low light situations when you need the best performance, the 20-60x100 Wilderness scope is the ultimate choice. This large aperture scope brings in the most light so you can see subjects at dawn, dusk, or under heavy brush.
    Ready for the toughest conditions
Constructed of durable yet lightweight aluminum and covered with rugged rubber armoring, the Wilderness spotting scope can stand up to hard use. It's fully waterproof and O-ring sealed for worry-free use in rain or snow. The space between the optical elements inside the scope is purged of air and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging, too. Your Wilderness spotter is ready to thread onto any standard tripod with 1/4"-20 threads and includes a carrying bag for secure transport.
    Performance you can count on
The Meade Wilderness spotting scope is angled at 45 degrees, making it comfortable to use in the field whether you're standing, seated, or lying down to spot your target. There's also a sight tube on the left side of the scope to spot your target even faster. Once you have it in your sights, bring it into focus quickly with the smooth, quick focus knob. A sliding lens shade can be pulled forward to reduce glare or extended back to let in more light in dim conditions.
    Digiscoping made easy
If you've ever wanted to capture images through your spotting scope, it doesn't get any easier than a Wilderness scope. Every model comes standard with a digiscoping adapter. Attach it to any camera with a T-ring (an affordable standard connector made for your specific model of DSLR), and Wilderness transforms into a giant telephoto lens! Get ready to share your amazing views with family and friends.
